I’ve been waiting for eightarc to re-stock their Fusion sticks for ages. And they did, on black friday they re-stocked their Fusion Ebony sticks, and also released Fusion Ivory, and the limited edition Fusion Sapphire.
As soon as I saw their tweet, I immediately tried to buy the Fusion Ivory stick, but my card got declined lol, so close. Moments later, they announced the Fusion Sapphire, and I knew I had to buy that. I HAVE TO HAVE A STICK THAT LOOK THAT AWESOME–(shot. and then I did.
Tadi gw lagi di skype, iseng2 ngomong sama Aldy (DJ Holcroft) tentang tourney T2 yang baru, dan kali ini termasuk Jakarta juga, jadi bukan cuman Bandung.
Sistemnya bakalan 1 on 1 battle, elimination (double elimination kalo rame yang ikut) dengan beberapa batasan biar setidaknya semua orang bisa compete di tahap awal sampai tengah-akhir. Karena walaupun gw pengen pemain2 baru ato pemain2 yang kurang jago ikut, gw juga pengen pemain yang jago bisa shine (?) di tahap2 akhir tourney. Lagian kan ini tourney competitive, kalo kalah di babak pertama telen aja, dan ngarep menang di losers bracketnya kalo double elimination.
Peraturan yang udah gw pikirin:
-Tidak akan ada pembagian grup pro sama newbie. keputusan ini udah final. gw ga mao ada pembedaan2 pemain berdasarkan skill. ini ngasih kesan kalo yang pro itu ga layak lawan yang newbie, dan sebaliknya juga. (baca point dibawah juga biar bisa lebih ngerti)
-Keep in mind, kalo ini tourneynya di design buat competitive, tapi juga di design biar semua orang punya chance adil buat compete.
-Pemenang dilihat dari score, yang score lebih tinggi; yang menang. Kalo misalnya kedua pemain mati di tengah2 lagu, pemain yang lebih jauh progress di lagu tersebut yang menang.
-Sistemnya kalo double elimination berarti bracketnya dipisah menjadi 2 bagian: winners bracket sama losers bracket. Losers itu buat pemain yang pernah kalah, dan punya 1 kesempatan lagi buat maju ke babak selanjutnya. More info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double-elimination_tournament
-Akan ada beberapa Surprise Factor di tourney ini yang bakal bikin matchnya lebih interesting.
-Jakarta dan Bandung lakukan tourney terpisah, tapi pemain Top 5 berdasarkan tourney masing2 nanti akan battle untuk represent kota mereka setelah tourney pertama selesai.
-Tipe2 side-tourney yang mungkin bakal dimasukin juga: Duet (2 pemain roulette), Freestyle (gaya2 kayak orang aneh), dan duo freestyle (gaya2 kayak orang aneh…tapi berdua).
-Target waktu tourney ini sekitar desember, karena ini pengen dijadiin tourney terakhir buat T2, dan pembuka T3 tahun depan.

Setelah dipikirin, babak2 pertandingannya ntar seperti ini:
asumsi ada 32 player, berarti ada 5 babak.
babak 1: (offline songs only) pemilihan lagu random (< ini biar semua orang ada kesempatan) dan lagunya di limit max level 6
babak 2: (offline songs only) pemilihan lagu random (max lv7) DAN ada effector yang dipilih secara random juga (1 effector aja, ato 2?) ditambah surprise ‘effector’ yang off-game (lss, 1 hand, dll. kalo dapet effector off-game, itu ga bisa ditambah sama effector in-game)
babak 3: quarter-final. pemain suit, pemenang suitnya boleh pilih lagu yang dia pengen dari list yang ada (min lv6/max lv8) (< ini karena di babak sini udah semakin banyak pemain yang jago)
babak 4: semi-final. ??? (min lv8/max lv9) (sama kayak atas? tapi ditambah effector yang dipilih random)
babak 5: final. (min lv9/max lv10) pemain pilih 1 lagu masing2 dan 1 effector random. ditambah WAJIB main D2 MX buat penutupan. (bagian terakhir itu ngasal lol, tapi kira2 mumpung ini final juga pasti orang yang bisa survive ampe segitu juga orang yang -mestinya- kuat main D2 MX)
Dan kira2 di semi-final keatas, nanti ada beberapa surprise song yang wajib dimaenin kalo ada yang dapet

I really wanted this figure, but unfortunately it was sold out in amiami when I wanted to order.
A month later, I went to the local shop and found the same one, lol. Bought it for Rp 1.5 million (approx. $150) which is way too expensive, even including shipping+tax, if they count.
Every game has bugs and glitches that we will encounter, even an arcade game like technika. Though the bugs in technika are caused by the hardware, and not the software. It’s because of how the sensors work, it’s not really a touchscreen, there are just IR sensors around the monitors that will trigger if something is blocking it, sort of like how the kinect works.
So, I passed Thor HD today, after a lot of tries since whenever, lol… Figured out the chart while playing, passed, and then the next few tries are all passed with at least 270K lol.
I originally made these for my friend, but I guess I’ll make it public so other people can learn too. More people learning = more people getting good = more competition = more fun.

It actually looks pretty unorganized, cause my mom facking moves everything in my room without asking me.. Alicia isn’t supposed to be in there, but she moved it in and I don’t give a fuck for now.
I’m getting a new ~private~ room around the end of the month, so I’m moving my collection there, and I’ll make it more organized.
Also, for next month, I have ordered 3 figures, a figma, and a nendoroid. Can’t wait. I also have other stuff like wall scrolls, mousepads, etc.

Well, they’re having a maintenance right now, so I couldn’t do anything other than play the card packs. And I’ll tell you this, the rates for card packs v2 is awesome.
Nearest arcade at the mall just got their T2 machine connected to the internet. I’ve been playing all day since thursday, so 3 days total, and now I’m level 7 already. Though that doesn’t matter, since it doesn’t affect any gameplay at all. My IGN is “Joz”, you can look it up on the platinum crew website, but I don’t think it’ll show anything other than my name lol. They should let people check other people’s individual records, or can you do that already? I don’t know lol..
Anyway, Technika 2 is online, I’m really hoping they’ll try to get the V7/e-amusement machines online too. I’m getting really tired of not being able to play kaiser phoenix for 4 stages lol
